Animal Assisted Services

I often incorporate my black lab, Griz, into sessions to provide comfort, companionship, and a source of unconditional love. I believe in the healing power of the human-animal bond.

Support for Teens

Adolescence can be a confusing and emotionally intense time. I help teens explore their thoughts, feelings, and challenges in a space that’s nonjudgmental, supportive, and real. Whether they're struggling with anxiety, identity, self-esteem, school stress, or relationships, I work collaboratively to build trust, insight, and healthy coping skills. See more below.

Life Transitions & Personal Growth

Change—whether chosen or unexpected—can be overwhelming. I support clients through major life shifts like starting college, changing careers, ending relationships, or becoming a parent. Together, we’ll explore what’s unfolding in your life and help you move forward with clarity, confidence, and self-compassion.

As both a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a Licensed School Counselor (LSC), I offer specialized support for teens and young adults facing the unique challenges of high school and the transition to college. I understand the pressures of academic performance, the overwhelm of college applications, and the emotional ups and downs that come with preparing for adulthood.

Common concerns I help with:

  • Academic anxiety and perfectionism

  • Time management and motivation

  • Worries about the future or “not being good enough”

  • Stress related to grades, AP/IB classes, or extracurricular load

  • Decision-making about colleges, majors, and career paths

  • Identity shifts and self-confidence as students prepare to leave home

Whether your student is struggling to keep up, overworking themselves to the point of burnout, or simply feeling uncertain about what's next, therapy can help them gain clarity, calm, and confidence.

Parents: If you're unsure how to support your teen during this big transition, you're not alone. I'm here to help guide the process compassionately and collaboratively.
